Using effects

An effect is an operation that can be applied to an image or a sequence of images in order to transform or to enhance it. Drag the effect from the Effects tab in the Toolbox and drop it over an object, an image or the Batch header of the Thumbnails browser.

After the effect is created, you can view and change its properties in the Controls tab. Refer to "Parameters panel" section of this manual to learn more about effect editing.

Adding an effect to an image

Drag the effect from the Effects tab in the Toolbox and drop it over the image in the Thumbnails browser.

When an effect is added to an image, its parameters can be edited in the Controls tab.

Adding an effect to an object

Drag the effect from the Effects tab in the Toolbox and drop it over an object in the Viewer.

When an effect is added to an object, its parameters can be edited in the Object tab. Effects can be applied to any type of media object (images, directories, vectors, text and shapes) or to the Area object.

Adding an effect to multiple images

Drag the effect from the Effects tab in the Toolbox and drop it over the Batch header of the Thumbnails browser.

STILL - Adding an effect to the image sequence

When an effect is added to the sequence, it will be applied (during rendering) to all the images. Changing the parameters of a sequence effect will affect all these images.

Sequence effects are rendered after the image effects.
